Again 2 teams in the relegation battle, last time I backed Bastia they let me down but their home form is generally good. Istres are hopeless away from home...

Yesterday...........

Argh - I thought the Angers game was tonight and never got the chance to post the analysis. It was the only selection for the weekend and unsurprisingly they won easily!

It wont count towards the P/L.

Midweek we had one win and one loss for a small profit - it looked good for a while but Bastia fell apart in the second half.

Hopefully some selections next week.

Bastia are bottom of the league, but at home they are showing a great turn of form. They are the 10th best team at home this season and 6 of their last 8 at home. They are very much still in with a shout of safety with just 3 games remaning and this will be a chance to get 3 points on the board. Vannes themselves are not yet safe - but they have only managed one win in 10 away, only 3 over the course of the season.
Anything at evens is a great bet for a Bastia win (2.0 with 188Bet)

1pt on Guingamp to beat Strasbourg (2.15 SJ)
Similar story reall - Guingamp need points for safatey, Strasbourg are 4 points ahead of them. Guingamp haven't lost in 10 at home - but they have only managed 2 wins in that time. They have only actually lost once all season at home. So I was tempted to play this DNB until I looked at Strasbourgs away form. No wins, 8 draws, 9 losses. Against the bottom 4 teams this season they havent managed a win. They perform better against the top half of the table. Strasbourg have the second worst away form in the league.
Tempted to cover it with a draw but think that Guingamp with have enough to record a crucial win.
